After 39 years of veterinary medicine in Maryland, Dr. Dhillon made a simple decision when it came time to retire: keep doing what he loves.
Today, he runs A Fund for Veterinary Care — focused entirely on animals that need help the most. Operating by appointment out of Gaithersburg, he provides hands-on veterinary care to stray, abandoned, and rescue animals who would otherwise fall through the cracks.
"Retirement didn't mean stepping away — it meant stepping toward the work that matters most. Helping an animal in need isn't a job to Dr. Dhillon. It's a calling he's answered his entire life."
